By April 2, 2018 General, Lodging, New England States

The White Mountains National Forest of New Hampshire consist of four mountains Mount Washington, Mount Adams, Mount Jefferson and Mount Sam Adams with two Sub mountains, Mount Clay (or Reagan) and Bott Spur which are part of the Tallest mountain, Mount Washington. The White Mountains of New Hampshire are part of the Appalachians great highland system of North America, stretching for about 2000 miles on the eastern side of the United States and Canada. Starting from the Canadian Province of Newfoundland they extend all the way south to the state of Alabama.

Depending on the time of year you visit the White Mountains of New Hampshire, there are many activities for each of the four seasons. In the summer there is camping, canoeing, hiking and just exploring the mountains.

The fall foliage in the White Mountain National Park is the most spectacular time of the year. The trees with their bright Red, Orange, Yellow and Green are a sight seers delight.

As you drive along the Kancamagus Highway it is almost impossible to keep your eyes on the road with the beautiful colors of Fall all around you.
